Younique Makeup Review

Younique Makeup Review
Disclaimer: I may have received one or more of these products in exchange for my review. As always, all opinions are honest & my own.

Recently, Michelle, an amazing Younique presenter was kind enough to send me some make-up to review for you guys! I received a few sample items such including 3 face masks and foundation. I also received a few full-size items from their Moodstruck line including a mascara, liquid eyeliner, and blush!

What is it?

Younique is a brand of makeup that works to uplift women and create a group of women to empower and validate each other. It is sold online or by a presenter system. The makeup line is in conjunction with the Younique Foundation that is a retreat for sexually abused women, giving them a safe place to begin their healing process. The line itself helps to raise awareness and support victims. They sell a variety of products including eye shadow, brow gel, primer, foundation, liquid lipstick, and more.

Moodstuck Precision Dip & Draw Eyeliner

Available Colors: Perfect (deep black), Prominent (bronze shimmer), Polarized (electric blue), and Patronized (maroon).

Price: $21

Review: I received mine in the color Patronized. To be honest I never have high hopes for colored liquid liners. I feel like they always end up looking patchy and messy. I also rarely wear makeup looks that incorporate a colored liner but I took this as a challenge to come up with a new look.

I wore this liner twice so far and both times I came up with an eye look that would compliment the color. I was shocked with this liner. It went on so smoothly and easily with no mess or patchiness. It also lasted so long without fading at all! The first time I wore this I had it on for like 10 hours and about 6 hours the second time. Both times when taking my makeup off the liner was still perfectly in tact. Removing it was also super easy and it came off in one swipe with a cotton ball and micellar water.

I will definitely continue to come up with looks that it goes well with.

Moodstruck Epic Mascara

Price: $24

Review: This was definitely my favorite product that I received.

I now use this mascara every single day. It’s very hard for me to find a mascara that I consider “holy grail” and really thickens and lengthens my lashes.Until now I’ve been using Tarte’s Lash Paint (which I still love) but Epic Mascara is definitely tied for first place now.

Moodstruck Powder Blush

Available Colors: Metallic maroon, Metallic light pink

Price: $29

Review: This was my least favorite product of the 3 but it was still pretty amazing. I received mine in

the color metallic maroon and when I wear blush I typically go for lighter or peachier colors so this was a little different for me. However, it ended up applying and blending so nicely. It gave the perfect amount of color to my cheeks.

Iwas sent samples of all three of their masks: the detoxifying, the oil control, and the exfoliating. I have only tried the oil control mask so far and it was amazing! When first looking at Younique’s website this was the product that caught my eye and I will definitely be purchasing a full-sized version of this.

As you all know by now, I love so many make-up brands, they each have a special place in my heart. However, there is ALWAYS room for more! I’m so thankful to have been sent these products and I can’t wait to purchase many more from Younique.
